ITINERARY
Day 1               Arrive Auckland
On arrival in Auckland - The City of Sails, you will be met by our local representative for a private transfer to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Auckland.

Day 2               Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua
Travel south to arrive at Waitomo for a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves, including an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glowworms on the cavern roof. Continue over the Mamaku Ranges to reach the 'Thermal City' of Rotorua. Overnight at your hotel in Rotorua.

Day 3               Rotorua – Taupo
Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Paradise Valley Springs to see New Zealand's trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. Depart Rotorua this afternoon and travel through the Wairakei Geothermal area before arriving in Taupo, home to New Zealand's largest lake and the spectacular Huka Falls. Overnight at your hotel in Taupo.

Day 4               Taupo – Auckland
This morning visit Taupo's top attractions on the Taupo Hotbus, including Huka Falls, Huka Jet and Prawn Farm, Taupo Bungy and Honey Hive (entrance fees to sights not included if applicable).Travel north through the fertile Waikato region before returning to Auckland. Overnight at your hotel in Auckland.

Day 5               Depart Auckland

ITINERARY
Day 1               Arrive Christchurch
On arrival in Christchurch, The Garden City, you will be met by our local representative for either a private transfer to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Christchurch.

Day 2               Christchurch – Greymouth – Glacier Region
Depart Christchurch on the TranzAlpine train and travel beside the Waimakariri River, over the Southern Alps and onto the alpine village of Arthur's Pass before arriving in Greymouth. Travel south along the rugged West Coast to arrive at the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Overnight in the Glacier Region.

Day 3               Glacier Region
A full day at leisure to explore this magnificent glacier region. You could optional to take a scenic flight or guided walk on one of the glaciers (at extra cost). Overnight in the Glacier Region.

Day 4               Glacier Region – Queenstown
Travel down the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the Haast Pass, gateway to the World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue around the shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka into Queenstown. Overnight at your hotel in Queenstown.

Day 5               Queenstown
An opportunity today to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jet-boating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Choose your activity and be the dare devil of the day (Optional activities at an extra cost). Overnight at your hotel in Queenstown.

Day 6               Depart Queenstown

DAY 2               AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – ROTORUA
Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. DAY 4               NAPIER – WELLINGTON
Travel through the Manawatu Gorge and Takapau Plains to Palmerston North, famous for its agricultural university. Continue south to arrive in Wellington, New Zealand's capital city. Overnight at your hotel in Wellington.

DAY 5               WELLINGTON – CHRISTCHURCH
Journey across Cook Strait, which separates the North and South Islands of New Zealand; and into the Marlborough Sounds with its sparkling clear waters and lush forests, before arriving in Picton. Travel south through Blenheim and Kaikoura to reach the Garden City of Christchurch. Overnight at your hotel in Christchurch.

DAY 6               CHRISTCHURCH – MT COOK – DUNEDIN
Cross the Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd before arriving at Mt Cook. Leaving Mt Cook, travel through the historic Victorian precinct of Oamaru and the Waitaki Valley before continuing cross country to the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin. Overnight at your hotel in Dunedin.

DAY 7               DUNEDIN – QUEENSTOWN
This morning is free for optional activities. Leaving Dunedin, travel through South Otago, through Balclutha and Gore and across the fertile Southland Plains to Lake Te Anau. Continue around the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to reach Queenstown. Overnight at your hotel in Queenstown.

DAY 8               QUEENSTOWN
You have an opportunity today to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Choose the best way to indulge yourself (optional activities at an extra cost). Overnight at your hotel in Queenstown.

DAY 9               QUEENSTOWN – GLACIER REGION
Travel along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the Haast Pass, gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park.  DAY 10             GLACIER REGION – GREYMOUTH – CHRISTCHURCH

NOTE:

  • All arrangements made by Travel Bench are in the capacity of an agent only. Travel Bench will not be liable for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control such as accidents, injuries delayed or cancelled flights & acts or forces of nature. All passengers must be covered by suitable travel/health insurance prior to departure from the country of origin.
  • This proposal supersedes all the proposals given till date.
  • We are holding no bookings as of now. We will request for all services once the booking has been finalized with Travel Bench.
  • No bookings for Airline and Hotel are made as of now. The same will be requested upon confirmation from your end.
  • For Medical insurance for each passenger we have considered an upper age limit of 60 years. Should there be any passengers above 60 years; the cost of overseas medical insurance will be based upon the age of the person.
  • The airfare and the rate of exchange are subject to change with or without prior notice due to frequent fluctuations in the rate of exchange and airfare.

 TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Our booking procedures would be as follows:-

  • As soon as you decide to confirm your holiday booking with Travel Bench, we would request you to please send us an initial non-refundable, interest free deposit amount of Rs. 12,000/- per person.
  • All cheques / demand drafts to be drawn in favour of Travel Bench, pune
  • On payment of this deposit amount, we shall start processing your booking
  • Balance payments need to be made 15 days prior to your departure date.
  • In case you decide to travel closer to the departure date or payment is made 10 days prior to your departure then the same will have to be paid in cash / bank draft.
  • We shall try our best to confirm the same hotel / airline that we have based our quotation upon. However the same would be subject to availability at the time of confirming your booking. We shall however ensure that we confirm a hotel of similar category.
  • We shall deliver your final tour documents viz. air tickets, tour itinerary, briefing sheet, medical insurance on receipt of full and final payment of the tour cost.
  • Rates are based on a minimum of 2 passengers travelling together at all times.
  • Child must share existing bedding in parents’ room
  • Airfares may change without notice at any time during the validity of the package
  • Rates are subject to change based on availability and date of travel (Peak season/ Conference/ Holiday period surcharges would apply)
  • Cancellation charges would apply as per company policy.
